Bio
Zach recently made his foray in the NY Tech scene during a business development internship with foursquare. During those three months he helped execute a business development strategy that nearly doubled the number of verified merchants, saw user growth of approximately 2.5 million users, and saw the launch of a number of new foursquare products: photos & comments, explore, specials 2.0, language localization, and the new business platform.
Prior to his time at foursquare he spent three years at an entrepreneurially-minded logistics services firm called OnProcess Technology (OPT) which is located in the suburbs of Boston. While at OPT Zach seized the opportunity to undertake a variety of roles which gave him the opportunity to support some of the world’s top performing companies. As an account manager he had a team of 18 customer service reps reporting directly to him supporting clients such as Comcast, Time Warner Cable, and T-Mobile. Following that work, Zach worked as a client services manager to manage and develop programs for Philips Medical, Medtronic, Abbott Diagnostics, Baxter Healthcare, SonoSite & Varian Medical. Zach then continued his work in the medical devices vertical performing inside sales work and achieving 175% to quota for January-October 2010.
